Growing a Tomato and Pepper Salsa Garden

Salsa is perhaps the most popular condiment and it cannot get any better than when made fresh using your own home grown ingredients. This class will show how easy it is to grow your own tomatoes and peppers to make delicious fresh homemade salsa. Topics to be covered will include deciding whether to grow from seeds or to buy transplants, recommended varieties and sources, planting and care, other salsa ingredients that can be grown, and recipes for both fresh and canned salsa.

Bulbs are the perennially flowering plant of the future as they can survive a wide fluctuation in climatic variations. I will talk about these winter-flowering plants from my garden and how I came to learn of the various hardy bulbs by growing them in the Lehigh Valley, some of which are Snowdrops and Snowflakes, Adonis, Winter Aconites, and Cyclamen.
